Desiree Alliance Conference, Las Vegas July 25-30-call for papers/registration now open
Registration is now open for the upcoming Desiree Alliance conference in Las Vegas, NV July 25-30, 2010.
This year they have specific tracks that focus on a variety of areas that should appeal to activists, scholars and sex workers alike. Anyone interested in presenting, click on the appropriate track your presentation would fall under, and you will find the link to submit your proposals.
SexWorkersForChoice.org has submitted a proposal on the Value of Sex Work. If accepted, we will be offering a look at historical and international perspectives, but this piece will focus on our current climate in the US. We will offer arguements both for and against the value of sex work in the context of social, ethical, moral, physchological, political, spiritual, and financial issues.
